Poems- 1

While searching through my used highschool notes I found few poems I wrote long time ago. I've decided to share three of them. 1. Ballerina Her pain becomes beauty The light became dark Her hands become graceful The girl becomes swan Her face blooms a smile  as her eyes shed a tear Her scarred heart content as her feet red and tired She twists and turns  makes her whole world clap But once falls, the curtain She cries in the dark. 2. Savouring Solitude Fathom the value of solitude  Says few savoured its silence The few partial to silence  now allured by its peace Overwhelmed we are, for neither we learned to savour the lonely nor that silence is wiser than clamour of world. Be silent dear hearts for in that silence we shall fasten the bond of our existance and in that silence we shall see all of truth and all of lies. The Pact: A creation out of desperation

Our group selected chapter 8 where the Battle of the Windmill takes place. We decided to take a historical outlook on it. I was skeptical when I took the role of script writer but to my surprise I enjoyed the research I did and the script I wrote. Even though we forgot a lot of lines and turned it into an improv on stage, the sleepless night created the first script I have written and I sincerely hope you enjoy it.  Molotov- Ribbentrop pact Characters Narrator Vyacheslav Molotov - Foreign minister of Soviet Union Joachim von Ribbentrop – Reich Minister of foreign affairs Joseph Stalin- Prime minister of Soviet Union Winston Churchill- Prime m...

Preface to contemplations

I am Niranjana. I am someone who enjoys solitude, rainfall, a good book, and a meaning full talk. I am neither fond of small talks nor getting out of my comfort zone to meet new people. As a result, my friend circle has always been small and will likely stay small in the future.  I do not intend for my blog to be a collection of diary entries or personal accounts of events in my life. I do not intend for my personal matters to be spilled into the ever-growing library of internet but I know they will inevitably seep through my writings. you are definitely wondering, 'Why is she publishing if she is so cynical about it?' Well I am bored and I think other people's opinions on my thoughts and arguments I have had with myself throughout my life might be interesting.  Now onto what this blog will be-I intend each post to be my attempt at forming an opinion or finding a stance on the particular topic . I won't update regularly because interesting topics don't appear every...
